Terms of Service

Levite is operated by Adriatic Neural Network LLC (TX SOS 806633936). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Levite pattern-recognition platform, website, and any associated services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Account Creation & Eligibility

1.1. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

1.2. When you register, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

1.3. You may not create accounts by automated means or on behalf of someone else without their authorization.

1.4. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

2. Free Tier

2.1. The free tier provides limited access to birth chart calculations, basic readings, and daily timing windows.

2.2. Free tier features are subject to change at any time without notice.

2.3. Rate limits and usage caps may apply to free accounts. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate these limits.

3. Pro Subscription — Paid Tier

3.1. The Pro subscription costs $9.99 per month (plus applicable taxes) and grants access to premium features including detailed timing reports, progressed pattern views, relationship analysis, and an ad-free experience.

3.2. Subscription billing, cancellation, and renewal terms are governed by the separate Subscription Agreement (see SUBSCRIPTION_AGREEMENT.md), which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

3.3. All prices are in USD. We may change Pro pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

4. Refunds

4.1. Monthly subscriptions: Because the Service is delivered immediately upon payment, refunds are generally not provided for partial billing periods. If you cancel, access continues until the end of the current paid period.

4.2. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing the Service for more than 48 consecutive hours, contact support and we will evaluate a prorated refund or service credit.

4.3. Refund requests are handled case-by-case. To request a refund, email support@levite.app. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

4.4. We reserve the right to issue refunds at our discretion, including in cases of duplicate charges or billing errors.

5. Data Privacy & Chart Data

5.1. We collect, store, and process personal data (including birth date, time, and location) as described in our Privacy Policy (see PRIVACY_POLICY.md).

5.2. You retain ownership of your birth chart data and any interpretations generated for your account. This includes the raw birth information (date, time, location) and the calculated chart positions derived from it.

5.3. You grant Levite a limited, non-exclusive license to process your birth data for the purpose of providing the Service (calculating charts, generating interpretations, improving model accuracy).

5.4. We do not sell your personal data or birth chart data to third parties.

5.5. Chart interpretations and reading history are stored on our servers and accessible through your account. You may request deletion at any time.

6. User Conduct

6.1. You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or bypass rate limits
• Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use the Service to generate content that is harassing, abusive, or violates others' rights

6.2. We may moderate or remove user-generated content (e.g., saved notes, shared charts) that violates these rules.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1. The Service (including its text, graphics, algorithms, branding, and software) is owned by Adriatic Neural Network LLC and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

7.2. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our express written permission.

7.3. The astrological calculations and interpretations provided are generated by proprietary algorithms and models. You may use them for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

8. Disclaimer — Not Professional Advice

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Levite and Adriatic Neural Network LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

9.2. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9.3. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations of liability for certain types of damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

10. Termination

10.1. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support or using the account settings page.

10.2. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, violate applicable law, or if continued access could create legal liability.

10.3. Upon termination, you lose access to your account and its data. We will retain your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

11. Changes to These Terms

11.1. We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect.

11.2. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

12.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12.2. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
